I have a preggo partner

Ohhhhh happy days I just found out that my sis is preggo too! Our babies will only be 4 mos. apart - who would have thought that we would have a second chance to experience this together. It's hard to believe its Thanksgiving tomorrow, feels like summer just ended. Time is going by so quickly.

We had our 20 week u/s Monday and she looks great - good measurements on all organs and bones and blood flow is awesome, cord looks healthy! YEY! She is kicking more and MORE with everyday, I can tell she is growing. According to the u/s she weighs in at 12 oz. almost a pound!

I am feeling like I am getting a cold, my throat is killing me so I better sign off early as we have to get up at the crack of dawn so hubby can play golf in the desert. Lucky him.

Happy Thanksgiving - I have so much to be thankful for this year :)

19 weeks

Almost half way there little bean! I better get organized. There is so much to do and the holidays are just about here -ACK! I turned my blog into a Pink Pepto nightmare ha ha! Funny I am even wearing pink (which is a stretch from my usual "bold" brown closet). My tummy has had it with my consumption of rich foods. I'm only putting in whole grains, proteins and water the entire weekend to get back on track. Did I mention I managed to gain 7lbs. in 4 weeks? Ugh...

My sis is hanging out on the couch for a week while 3 prospective embryos float and hopefully call her home within the next 48 hrs. This is her 2nd IVF this Fall and we are all hoping for a very thankful holiday. Testing day is 11/23!!!

Here's what the books say about baby:
Your baby weighs approximately 7 ounces and is about 5.2-6 inches from crown to rump. The exterior layers of skin tissue are developing to form your baby's one-of-a-kind fingerprints. Amniotic fluid that surrounds your baby allows for the free movement of the arms and legs and is also sometimes swallowed to practice digestion. Don't worry about the waste that comes from this, your body replaces the amniotic fluid every four hours.

I feel kicks!

I can feel kicks everyday now. There are certain times of the day that I feel here more, when I get up in the morning, late afternoon while sitting at my desk and driving home (especially if my pants don't hit in the right spot LOL) and then after I eat dinner I usually get a shout out! I started to clean out my office in preparation of the transformation into a nursery. I have so much to do, get a door installed, have lights put in, paint, clean the carpets and finally buy furniture! This can not be a cheap process. I went out and spent more than my car payment on maternity clothes today, I desperately wanted a new pair of jean that actually fit and that came with a price tag of $195 a pair!!! That is insane isn't it? I bought a pair of cords too, NO MORE clothes for me.

madame zariska

What she senses for youThe day you deliver, outside will be hot. Your baby will arrive in the afternoon.
After a labor lasting approximately 24 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and will be 17 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and some very fine hair.
But there is more. I get the impression that there is something in your life that is not yet settled. Something about... something about a name? Ah -- a baby name. Why don't you look here for help with finding the perfect name for your precious child.

So far she got the girl part right!

my latest symptom...sciatica

I must have overdone it this Halloween, I practically needed someone to carry me to bed last night at 8:30. Everytime I took a step with my right foot a sharp pain would shoot down my right leg. I remember this with Lydon, but I was nearing the end of my pregnancy when I felt it. My back really hurts a lot, it feels loose like a bowl of jello (hmmm jello sounds really good right now) My next doc appt. is Monday, I'll have to ask her about what will help with the pain.

My belly is really starting to round out, people can now tell that I am pregnant vs. getting fat. Some regular at Deidrichs asked if I was going to have anymore kids, I patted my tummy and said well yea, April 7th to be exact and he replies, oh good I thought maybe you were just getting FAT! How odd, I don't think he meant it to sounds as horrible as it did.

My belly shot makes me smile, I finally really really LOOK the part! I can feel her almost everyday now. Some days its a few kicks and stretches other days she seems pretty quiet. She lets me know when I bend over too much. It's time to go bra shopping... again! I have to be up to an F-cup almost - holy guacamole!
